RBP Edition – Black, Red, and Hot!

All it takes is one glance to know the Black RBP Edition Wrangler Unlimited is one serious off-road machine. Dressed up in a sinister looking black with just the right touch of RBP red accents, The RBP Edition is going to scare some people and awe others.

Take a look at this beast head on. That bulge on the hood, that’s the signature feature of our own American Wheel and Tire custom heat hood. But the things that will draw your eyes first are the massive 37″x13.50″-22 RBP Repulsor MT tires. That rubber is wrapped around RBP’s Colt 22x12 wheels that sport wicked black rims and painted red spokes. Then there’s the whole grill assembly. Leading off the show is an RBP RX-3 LED grille with the red RBP star logo and LED lights. Flanking the grille is a pair of Max Bilt LED headlamps. Just below the grille is the Smittybilt X20 10,000-pound waterproof winch with synthetic rope and Factor 55 FlatLink shackle mount. Rounding out the front is the aggressive looking Smittybilt XRC Gen2 Front Bumper equipped with Rigid Industries Dually LED spotlights
RBP Edition

The front end is impressive but that’s just part of an impressive package. The wrenchers at American Wheel and Tire who design and build these remodels, are probably bigger off-road freaks than you are. That’s why you’ll only find the best quality, best fit parts on our rides. For example, we put a Rough Country 4” lift kit on this ride. When you boost the clearance and add oversized wheels and tires the stock fenders must go. So, what you find on the RBP Edition are RBP front and rear fenders and DV8 front inner fenders. And we know you’re going to run over, and maybe into things so, we added Smittybilt XRC Armor lower body guards and a Smittybilt SRC Gen2 Rear Bumper with hitch and LED lighting.

Jeep does a good job with 4WD with its Command Trac system. The only thing we swapped out underneath were the shocks. We added Rubicon Express remote reservoir shocks and tossed in a Rough Country dual steering stabilizer. 


Showing Off a Bit

Climb up the RBP RX-3 Steps and look inside and you’ll discover Jeep also did a decent job of making the interior more driver and passenger friendly. A longer wheelbase gives more leg room, the larger rear window and relocation of wiper gives better visibility, there are USB ports front and back, a new instrument cluster, bigger console and more. But we decided it needed a personal touch, so we added custom leather seats with red stitching and accents and a custom painted interior accent trim. And check this out. Keeping with the black and red theme, the RBP Edition has red LED interior accent lighting.

Speaking of lighting, the RBP Edition has plenty eye-catching light to go around. That red interior accent light is matched on the exterior with red LED undercarriage lighting. This ride actually glows at night. Next up are J.W. Speakers red LED tail lights and red Recon LED front turn signals. On the body you get a Rugged Ridge upper windshield mount with (3) 13.5″ LED light bars to go with the bumper mounted Dually LED spotlights.
